Digitizing the edge of a sink	The digitized sink measurements transferred to a PC

This machine is primarily a drawing tool for the CNC Department. Templates of all pieces that will be shaped on the CNC Router are digitized at this station so that accurate computerized drawings can be programmed. In addition the size and shape of all porcelain sinks are checked against the manufacturers’ specifications so that adjustments can be made to sink cutouts in those cases where the sink is of a slightly different size or shape than the manufacturer’s template. The tops of furniture pieces are often digitized so that form fitting tops can be produced with consistent overhangs.
