GENROSE Stone + Tile in Massachusetts actually started in the 1940’s as Wm. Smethurst & Son in Medford as a tile and glass tile installation company in the Boston Area serving some of the most prestigious Universities and residential customers. A need was realized by William and Harold Smethurst to supply products to other installers and developed the distribution and showroom business in MA.
Ipswich MA was added to the GENROSE Stone + Tile family in 2016 with the demand for local supply /service by installers and homeowners booming in the Northshore market. This location is conveniently located on Route 1 @ 78 Turnpike Rd. This location has teamed up with a long-time customer and combined its showroom with a Stone Fabrication Showroom to offer the complete design experience. With plenty of room for expansion in this facility we strive for the one stop shopping experience that customers are demanding.

GENROSE Stone + Tile will bring our knowledgeable staff members directly into the comfort of your home to ease the selection process of Tile, Natural Stone Countertops, and Cabinetry. With just a few brief questions prior to our visit, we are able to envision what you desire and supply samples from our vast selection that will fulfill your needs for your home. While onsite we can also measure the areas and suggest the latest items to compliment your selections. You should only be doing this ONCE, and we make sure it gets done RIGHT with no details overlooked.
